Four top bosses in the Premier League clubs are in the race to be named Manager of the Month for December.

Quique Sanchez Flores is in contention after steering Watford to three victories and a draw in their five matches.

There were comfortable wins over strugglers Sunderland and Norwich but the Hornets came to life with a shock 3-0 triumph over Liverpool before Christmas followed up with a battling 2-2 draw at Chelsea.

It's no surprise that the bosses of the league's top two teams are also in the running.

Leicester City are showing no signs of nerves near the summit of the top-flight with Claudio Ranieri guiding his team to impressive victories at Everton, a home win against Chelsea and at Swansea.

They may have suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at Liverpool, but a point against Manchester City has shown that the Foxes should not be ruled out from claiming the top prize in May.

Arsene Wenger continues to impress at the helm at Arsenal and he will be delighted to have picked up four wins over a very busy period.

Crystal Palace have also picked up crucial points in December with Alan Pardew avoiding defeat and securing two fine victories.

The month may have finished off with two goalless draws against Swansea and Bournemouth, but maximum points were picked up at Stoke - which is no mean feat - and at Selhurst Park with Southampton.

And to come away from Roberto Martinez's Everton with a draw was another impressive show.
