Simon Thomas was joined by Graeme Souness and Jamie Redknapp to reflect on Chelsea's 4-2 win over Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Diego Costa scored twice as the Blues restored their seven-point lead over Tottenham at the top of the Premier League.

Eden Hazard and Gary Cahill were also on target for the hosts while former Chelsea players Oriol Romeu and Ryan Bertrand replied for Saints.

The win sees Antonio Conte's side move within 12 points of the title with five games remaining.

Speaking afterwards, Souness was full of praise for the leaders: "They were very effective. They defended properly and didn't give many chances away against a good attacking Southampton team.

"This Chelsea team can pick you off and they have some fabulous players up front. Costa is raw aggression and Hazard has dancing feet. It was very impressive from Chelsea."
