Angus MacDonald joins Hull City from Barnsley for undisclosed fee

Hull City have signed Barnsley club captain Angus MacDonald for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal at the KCOM Stadium and Hull have the option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.

MacDonald said: "It's a big step for me and I'm looking forward to getting going here. This is a big club and a chance for me to progress my career.

"When you arrive at a club, you're always going to have to fight for a place in the team and I'll look to do that by trying to impress in training."

MacDonald represented England at U16 and U19 level, and was made captain by Barnsley in the summer of 2017.
