Harry Wilson joins Hull on loan after signing new contract at Liverpool

Harry Wilson has joined Hull City on loan from Liverpool after signing a new long-term deal with his parent club.

The 20-year-old winger will spend the rest of the 2017/18 season with Hull, who are currently 21st in the Sky Bet Championship.

Wilson said: "As soon as I found out Hull City were interested I really wanted to make the move, so thankfully everything got done fairly quickly.

"I feel it's the right time for me to make the step into a first team changing room and into the Championship.

"It's a great challenge and one that I'm looking forward to."

Wilson joined Liverpool at U9 level and made his debut for the first team against Plymouth in the FA Cup last season.

He made his international debut for Wales as a 16-year-old in October 2013 in a World Cup Qualifier against Belgium.
