Sky Sports is celebrating 23 years as the home of the Premier League and in the latest part of our series we look back at some of the most memorable goals.
So many Premier League moments have excited us through the years, and ahead of the new season we are taking you on a trip down memory lane.
We want you to vote from our selection of 160 Premier League moments, but today we turn the focus onto great goals. Which is your favourite?
Vote: David Beckham v Wimbledon: August 17, 1996
David Beckham may have made his Manchester United debut two years earlier, but in the opening game of the 1996/97 season he truly announced his Premier League arrival.
Beckham spotted Neil Sullivan off his line at Selhurst Park and executed a delightful long-range effort from just inside his own half, dropping just underneath the bar with the Scottish goalkeeper stranded.
The goal was etched into the minds of Premier League supporters as soon as it hit the back of the net.
Vote: Dennis Bergkamp v Newcastle: March 2, 2002
Robert Pires slipped pass to Dennis Bergkamp was simple enough, but before it even landed at his feet the Arsenal striker knew exactly his next move.
The assumption was that Bergkamp would control the ball with his right foot, but instead he flicked the ball around Nikos Dabizas with his left, leaving the Newcastle defender completely stranded.
The Dutchman was immediately clean through on goal and backed up the magical piece of skill with a cool side-footed finish.
Vote: Wayne Rooney v Manchester City: February 12, 2011
Nani’s cross deflected off Pablo Zabaleta and the ball hung up in the air inside the penalty area. Vincent Kompany had completely lost track of Wayne Rooney and what happened next can only be described as a moment of inspiration.
It appeared as if the cross was about to evade Rooney, before he brilliantly improvised and produced a sumptuous overhead kick. Joe Hart could only watch the ball fly past him as it rocketed into the top right-hand corner.
Roberto Mancini said afterwards: "All you can do is clap."
Vote: Philippe Albert v Manchester United: 20th October 1996
Philippe Albert’s name will always be synonymous with the outrageous lob he produced against Manchester United to cap Newcastle’s 5-0 win at St James’ Park in 1996, a goal that became a symbol of Kevin Keegan’s ‘entertainers’.
The centre-back waltzed forward into the opposition’s half and expertly dinked the ball over Peter Schmeichel as the keeper was caught out of position.
The goal was scored with an elegant grace, earning him unreserved adoration from the Newcastle supporters.
Vote: Paolo Di Canio v Wimbledon: 26 March, 2000
Paolo Di Canio scored some sensational goals for West Ham, but this audacious finish is arguably the pick of the bunch.
Di Canio maintained his balanced to rifle home a scissor-kick volley from the edge of the box from Trevor Sinclair's long ball with the precision and flair that embodied the Italian’s flamboyant personality, undeniable talent and goalscoring prowess.
You can watch plenty more great goals here - including memorable strikes from Tony Yeboah, Eric Cantona, Matt Le Tissier and Thierry Henry. Take a look and cast your vote for the greatest moment of all time from the world's most exciting league.
