Valencia looking to spend following Champions League qualification

Valencia manager Nuno Esperito Santo is hoping to have access to further transfer funds now that the club's Champions League status has been secured.
Los Che defeated Monaco 4-3 on aggregate to qualify for the group stages, despite losing Tuesday's play-off second leg in France 2-1.
Valencia, who finished as the competition's runners up in 2000 and 2001, have already spent around £70m on reinforcements this summer but have struggled to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules as a result.
However, the club's owner, Singapore billionaire Peter Lim, may now be allowed to spend further following Tuesday's qualification and last week's £32m sale of Nicolas Otamendi to Manchester City.
"After this match decisions must be made," Nuno said following Tuesday's match.
"It's time to talk, to sit down and calmly analyse the market, what is on offer, who you can sign while adhering to Financial Fair Play rules.
"Otamendi's exit means we have to review the situation but if we do bring someone in they will have to contribute."
Alvaro Negredo, one of Valencia's seven summer signings, put the Spanish side ahead on Tuesday with a beautifully chipped goal, only to see Andrea Raggi and Elderson reply for the hosts to set up a nail-biting finish in the south of France.
The former Spain international striker now says he is looking forward to the season ahead, knowing the club have secured their European status.
"This is hugely exciting for the players and the fans," said Negredo.
"Now we have to enjoy it, work hard and keep growing as a team."
