Columbus Crew teammates Kei Kamara and Tony Tchani clashed during their side's MLS defeat to New York Red Bulls.

Columbus Crew team-mates Kei Kamara and Tony Tchani were involved in a heated altercation in their MLS Conference Final against New York Red Bulls.

Tchani reacted angrily following a forceful challenge from Red Bull's midfielder Felipe, appearing to headbutt Mike Grella in the ensuing fracas.

Former Norwich City striker Kamara then raced over to cool the situation but instead aggressively vents his frustration at his team-mate's mindless action.

The 28th-minute incident threatened to jeopardise the Crew's progression to the MLS Cup final, with New York going on to win the game 1-0, thanks to Anatole Abang's late strike.

But Columbus, who had a two-goal advantage from the first leg, held on to set up a clash with Portland Timbers.
