Toronto FC continued their hot streak in the MLS with a 3-0 win over Philadelphia Union.

Goals from Sebastian Giovinco, Nicolas Hasler and Jozy Altidore gave the Canadian side a third win in a row and a seventh out of 11 games as they sit comfortably at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Sebastian Giovinco produced some magic to score his 12th MLS goal of the season during Toronto FC's 3-0 win over Philadephia Union.

The Texas derby threw up an entertaining affair as FC Dallas drew 3-3 with Houston Dynamo.

Dallas looked on course for the points after goals from Tesho Akindele, Maynor Figueroa and Maximilliano Urruti put them 3-1 up, but Erick Torres' double in the final 19 minutes earned a draw for Dynamo.

The defeats carry on coming for LA Galaxy as they were beaten 2-0 by Columbus Crew.

Goals from Ola Kamara and Justin Meram inflicted an eighth loss out of nine games for Galaxy.

Ashley Cole was sent off in the 18th minute of LA Galaxy's 2-0 defeat to Columbus Crew after fouling Pedro Miguel Martins Santos.

Elsewhere, DC United won for the first time since June as they won 1-0 at Atlanta United, Real Salt Lake City downed San Jose Earthquakes 4-0, Vancouver Whitecaps drew 1-1 with Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers beat Colorado Rapids 2-1.
