LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits he is thankful to be back playing football and is enjoying his "crazy start" to life in California.
Ibrahimovic announced himself to the MLS on Saturday with two goals, including a stunning 40-yard strike, as the Galaxy came from three down to beat local rivals Los Angeles FC.
The 36-year-old is now looking forward to the prospect of a regular run in the side after struggling for game time in his interrupted final season at Manchester United.
"Every movie has a good start; hopefully it has a good ending also," said Ibrahimovic. "It has been a crazy start, playing the first game and scoring two goals - expectations are very high.
"I demanded a lot from myself, I put a lot of pressure on myself because every time I play I want to perform. I want to do what I know I can do.
"It will take time to adapt to everything but I'm just happy I'm playing football after my injury. I appreciate every time I put on my boots."
Ibrahimovic's dream debut would feel at home in a Hollywood screenplay and, when asked who would play him in a blockbuster, the Swede joked: "Probably somebody like [Sylvester] Stallone."
United travel to face Premier League champions-elect Manchester City on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Premier League, but Ibrahimovic revealed he may be unable to watch the derby.
He said: "I don't know because of the jet lag, probably not at that time! Of course I follow all the teams I played with because I have a good relationship with every club I was at.
"I just want positive things to happen for them and I wish them all the best of the luck. Hopefully things go well - let's see if I'm awake."
Ibrahimovic says Manchester United will be determined to delay City's charge to the Premier League title, and has backed Jose Mourinho to spoil the planned celebrations at the Etihad.
"I think they are pumped. They are looking forward to a game like that because obviously City are ahead by many points and the rest of the league is not playing for the Premier League trophy," he said.
"They are playing for the Champions League and the places behind City so someone will want to give them a little shake like Liverpool did the other day.
"I know the coach very well. He is very motivated for these kind of games and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want them to become champions against him. He'll make sure of that."
