Panama will attempt to "upset" England with their physical style of play, according to Wales defender Chris Gunter.
Gunter, who plays for Reading, featured for Wales in a friendly against Panama last year, which finished 1-1 in Cardiff.
"I think we've seen a lot of games so far in this World Cup where teams are not scared to break up play and try to do everything they can to upset the bigger nations," Gunter told Sky Sports News.
"Certainly against us they were very physical and didn't really worry too much about the safer side of the game - if you want to put it politely! But I think England will know that. They had a very good start and if they can get a result it will put them in a fantastic position.
"They've got some good players and it will be a tough and physical game where they'll try and upset England as much as possible."
England face Panama in their second Group G encounter in Nizhny Novgorod at lunchtime on Sunday. A victory for Gareth Southgate's side would likely see them through to the last 16 of the World Cup, while Panama would be eliminated with defeat.
