Dele Alli and John Stones trained on Saturday as England continue their preparations for Tuesday's World Cup last-16 game with Colombia.

Tottenham midfielder Alli came off with a thigh injury after 80 minutes of England's opening World Cup game, the 2-1 win over Tunisia on June 18.

Gary Neville has backed Gareth Southgate's decision to rest players including Harry Kane against Belgium

He has been well rested since and did not feature in the 6-1 victory over Panama or the 1-0 defeat to Belgium, in order to be ready for the Colombia match.

Manchester City centre-back Stones also featured, despite being substituted at half-time of the loss to Belgium in Kaliningrad.

Stones was seen with bandaging on his left calf after the game but England manager Gareth Southgate has insisted he always planned to replace Stones with Harry Maguire in that game and he looks set to be available for selection against Colombia in Moscow.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fabian Delph were the only absentees from training.

Loftus-Cheek, who started England's last two Group G games, is not carrying an injury but completed a personal conditioning session at the team hotel rather than joining team-mates at their Spartak Zelenogorsk training base.

Delph, meanwhile, remains in England having flown back for the birth of his third child following the defeat to Belgium.
