Harry Kane and Virat Kohli took to Twitter over Easter to form an unlikely appreciation society following their star turns for England and India.
Kane was in impressive form on Saturday, scoring England's first goal as Roy Hodgson's side rallied from 2-0 down to earn a dramatic 3-2 over Germany at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
Kohli then produced one of the innings of the World Twenty20 tournament on Sunday, smashing 82 from 51 balls to inspire India to a six-wicket win over Australia and earn a semi-final clash with West Indies, prompting Kane to tweet the flamboyant batsman.
"Virat Kohli is some player! In the high pressure situations shows what type of player you are and he does it time and time again!"
Kane returns to club duty this weekend with Tottenham looking to close the gap on league leaders Leicester in their Saturday Night Football trip to Liverpool and Kohli replied to the forward, wishing him luck in Spurs' title chase.
"Thank You so much @HKane. Loved your goal against Germany. Good Luck with your PL chase!"
Kane then replied: "No problem mate it was great to watch! Thank you it was one of my better ones! Yeah it should be a good chase! All the best!"
