Sky Sports understands a host of British clubs are tracking Lierse SK's Brazilian Wamberto
Wamberto has caught the eye of clubs across Europe after impressing for Lierse this season.
The 20-year-old's current contract expires at the end of the season and so far he has failed to agree a new deal.
The news has alerted Wamberto's suitors who are now readying moves for the skilful wide-man when the transfer window reopens in January, and could even sign him on a pre-contract agreement.
The likes of Celtic, Swansea, West Ham, Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland and Aston Villa are all thought to be keeping tabs on Wamberto.
