WATCH: Manchester City's sneaky squirrel

Ahead of Man City's Carabao Cup match against Wolves, a sneaky squirrel invaded the pitch resulting in the groundsmen trying to remove him

There was some unexpected pre-match entertainment at the Etihad Stadium as a squirrel managed to find its way onto the pitch.

Manchester City were hosting Wolves in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, but it was a far smaller animal which invaded the turf.

The squirrel ducked and ran away from two groundsmen, who attempted to chase it off the pitch before eventually getting him into the corner and helping him out of the stadium, much to the amusement of the fans in the stands.
