Checkatrade Trophy: Chelsea U21s through to semi-finals

Chelsea U21s made it through to the semi-finals of the Checkatrade trophy with a 3-0 win over League One side Oxford United on Tuesday night.

The Blues, playing at Stamford Bridge, headed into a quick two-goal lead as Harvey St Clair and Daishawn Redan struck in the first 20 minutes, while Juan Castillo netted in the second half to cap off the win. Chelsea are now just one win away from the final at Wembley.

Elsewhere on Tuesday night, Lincoln City and Shrewsbury Town also made it through to the last four. League Two Lincoln beat League One opposition Peterborough United 4-2 at Sincil Bank, while the Shrews beat Oldham 2-1.
