Sam Allardyce turned down the chance to become the manager of Turkey this summer.
The Turkey job became available after the previous manager Fatih Terim lost his job after he was filmed fighting with a restaurant owner.
Former England manager Allardyce was available this summer after he left Crystal Palace for health reasons.
Allardyce says he was contacted but turned down the approach and recently told Sky Sports that he has no urgent desire to get back into football.
"(I'm not missing it) at all at the moment," he said. "I think my life is very active in talking about football. I've just recently been to Kuala Lumpur doing some TV stuff with Steve McManaman and I've come back and will be with Jim White on talkSPORT."
Turkey, who are third in World Cup qualifying Group I, turned instead to former Shakhtar Donetsk and Romania manager Mircea Lucescu.
