Louis van Gaal v David Moyes: Manchester United manager records after 51 games

Victory over Liverpool saw Louis van Gaal bring up his 28th win in 51 games as Manchester United manager - one more than David Moyes managed in his 51 games at the helm.
If Van Gaal had not registered a victory against the club's arch-rivals, he would have been left with the identical win percentage to his predecessor from the same number of games.
The 51st game in charge, a 2-0 defeat at former club Everton, proved costly for Moyes' hopes of success as United elected to sack him with the club seventh in the table.

Moyes' team actually scored more goals in his 51 games than the Van Gaal version - 86 to 84 - but conceded six more goals at the other end.
