Premier League questions: Will Spurs cope without Harry Kane? Will Liverpool stay unbeaten against their top-six rivals?

CanTottenham cope without Harry Kane? Will Liverpool stay unbeaten against their top-six rivals? These are some of the questions we hope to have answered by Sunday night in the Premier League...

The weekend's action kicks off with Arsenal aiming to keep pace with the top four when they play high-flying West Bromwich Albion, live on Sky Sports 1 HD.

Nissan Super Sunday sees Spurs take on Southampton at White Hart Lane trying to stay in touch with leaders Chelsea - who visit Stoke City on Saturday.

Sunday's Sky Live action concludes when third-placed Manchester City host Liverpool.

Will Alexis start at the Hawthorns? (West Brom v Arsenal, Saturday from 11.30am, live on Sky Sports 1 HD and Sky Sports Mix HD)

Arsene Wenger caused a stir when dropping forward Alexis Sanchez to the bench for Arsenal's last league outing, a 3-1 loss at Liverpool.

That setback was the Gunners' third defeat in four Premier League matches, the same number of losses they suffered in their previous 32 top-flight contests.

That surely means the Chile international, who has been involved in 26 league goals so far this season (17 goals, nine assists) - more than any other player - will start for the visitors at The Hawthorns on Saturday lunch time…

Will Spurs cope without Kane? (Tottenham v Southampton, Sunday from 1pm, live on Sky Sports 1 HD)

Tottenham will take on Southampton without top-scorer Harry Kane on Sunday, after the striker damaged ankle ligaments in their FA Cup quarter-final win over Millwall last weekend.

Tottenham 3-2 Everton

Spurs have played 12 games this season in all competitions without Kane - nine of which have come against top-flight opposition.

Mauricio Pochettino's team have won only three of those nine encounters, scoring just eight times in the process.

Manchester City and Liverpool clash at the Etihad on Super Sunday with the visitors trying to go an entire campaign unbeaten against their top-six rivals.

The Reds are unbeaten in nine games against sides currently in the top six of the table (W5 D4).

In fact, since taking over at Anfield in October 2015, Jurgen Klopp has lost just once in 17 Premier League matches against Chelsea, City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs.

Will Big Sam's revival continue? (Crystal Palace v Watford, Saturday, 3pm)

Crystal Palace head into Saturday's game with Watford having won more points in their last two Premier League games (6) than they had in their previous eight encounters under Sam Allardyce (4).

As a result of that upturn in form, the Eagles have moved out of the relegation zone and they will be targeting a third straight victory when the Hornets visit Selhurst Park.

Will Lukaku break the 20-goal barrier? (Everton v Hull City, Saturday, 3pm)

Romelu Lukaku will surely be licking his lips at the prospect of facing Hull's leaky defence - Marco Silva's side have conceded 54 goals this season - at Goodison Park this weekend, as the striker bids to become the first Everton player to score 20 league goals in a campaign since Gary Lineker 31 years ago.

The Belgium international, who has 19 top-flight goals to his name, also needs just one more strike to score 80 goals in the Premier League. If he manages that by May, then he will join Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney and Robbie Fowler as the only players to reach that mark before the age of 24.

Will the Clarets finally break their away duck? (Sunderland v Burnley, Saturday, 3pm)

Burnley take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday seeking a first Premier League win on their travels this campaign.

Liverpool 2-1 Burnley

Sean Dyche's side make the journey to Wearside with the worst away record in the top flight this season having collected just two points from a possible 42.

The Clarets have five games left in which to break their duck and also beat the Premier League record for the lowest points tally on the road, set by Derby County in 2007-08 (3).

Will Conte carry on ringing the changes at the Bet365? (Stoke v Chelsea, Saturday, 3pm)

Chelsea travel to Stoke on Saturday afternoon with head coach Antonio Conte having made every substitution possible in the Premier League this campaign (81/81).

The former Juventus boss has also used the fewest number of players (21) and made the fewest changes to his starting XI (24) in the league this season.

So all eyes will be on the Bet365 Stadium this weekend to see if the Blues' maintain that intriguing record…

Will Shakespeare maintain his 100 per cent record? (West Ham United v Leicester City, Saturday, 3pm)

Craig Shakespeare celebrated his appointment as Leicester boss until the end of the season by guiding the club into the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday night.

However, on Saturday it will be back to the business of trying to keep the champions in the Premier League as the Foxes face West Ham in a crucial game at the London Stadium.

Leicester 3-1 Hull

The new manager, though, has won all three matches he has been in charge of so far, including his first two league contests to help steer the club away from the relegation zone.

A third straight top-flight victory this weekend will make Shakespeare the first Foxes boss to win his opening three Premier League games.

Will King continue his Cherries scoring streak? (Bournemouth v Swansea City, Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bournemouth entertain fellow strugglers Swansea City on Saturday evening with forward Josh King in red-hot form.

The Norway international scored a brilliant hat-trick in his side's thrilling 3-2 victory against West Ham on the south coast last weekend, fresh on the heels of converting penalties in the each of the club's previous two league games.

King has now scored nine times in his last 10 Premier League appearances for the Cherries, more than he managed in his previous 48 top-flight matches (8).

And with the 25-year-old having netted three goals in just three league appearances against the Swans, King will be looking to score for a fourth Premier League outing in a row this weekend.

Will United continue their unbeaten run? (Middlesbrough v Man Utd, Sunday, 12pm)

Manchester United make the trip to Teesside on Sunday boasting the current longest unbeaten record in the Premier League (17 games).

In stark contrast, however, Middlesbrough are on the longest winless run in the top flight at present (10 matches).

Man Utd 1-1 Bournemouth

Those two runs, though, almost came to an end when the two teams played each other at Old Trafford on New Year's Eve, only for United to score two late goals to win 2-1.

And victory for United at the Riverside this weekend will see them become the first side to rack up 600 wins in the Premier League.
