Darlington

Sky Sports is launching a survey to find the best player ever to wear a Darlington shirt - and we would like you to get involved.
We are asking fans of each of the 92 English League teams and Scottish Premier League sides to nominate their all-time favourite footballers.
Marco Gabbiadini scored 48 goals in 81 matches for the Quakers, despite being described as past his best when he signed. His goals made him an obvious favourite with the fans, but is he the greatest ever Darlington player?
Craig Liddle was so popular with fans that a beer was named after him by a local brewery. One of only a handful of players to make over 300 Quakers appearances, Liddle retired in 2005 after many injuries. Was Liddle the club's greatest ever player?
Ron Greener is the club's record appearance holder after spending 10 years with the Quakers. Centre-half Greener made 439 appearances for Darlington, was he the greatest ever player though?
Other greats such as Kevan Smith, Fred Barber, David Speedie and Bill Tulip are also in contention, but do any of them deserve the award?
But remember, if you disagree with our choices, or we've missed someone off, then vote for them below!
To make your selection please complete the form below and tell us why you are putting your chosen nominee forward.
Once we have received all your nominations, we will narrow down the selections for each side to the leading 10 candidates. You can then vote for your personal favourite.
After all votes are cast we will reveal the winners ahead of the 2009/10 season and crown Darlington's greatest-ever player!
