Burton forward Aurelien Joachim has left the club after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

Joachim, a Luxembourg international, was brought to the Pirelli stadium in the summer by former manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink but has made just 11 appearances.

Current boss Nigel Clough said: "Aurelien's contract has been cancelled by mutual consent. He's had limited opportunities here.

"We've got Mason Bennett, Stuart Beavon, Timmy Thiele, Lucas Akins and even Mark Duffy who can all play up front.
