Craig Bellamy on four-man Oxford United manager shortlist

Oxford United’s new owner Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth says Craig Bellamy is one of four candidates they are speaking to about the vacant manager's job.
Former Wales striker Bellamy is currently part of Neil Warnock's backroom staff at Cardiff City.
Derek Fazackerley has been in temporary charge since Pep Clotet was sacked in January and has overseen one victory and one draw in the five Sky Bet League One games he has led the team for.
Thanakarnjanasuth - known as 'Tiger' - hopes to appoint someone to the role on a permanent basis as soon as possible, although he insists the final decision on who gets the job has not yet been made.
"We haven't decided on anyone yet, [not] until within a day or two," he told Sky Sports News at a press conference to officially confirm him in his new role.
"I wish [for that, a swift appointment], if there is someone and we like him. It may not happen, so I don't want to commit to anything.
"I know it is important to make it [the decision] as soon as possible. There are some conditions we still need to talk [through] as I know it is important."
When pushed on whether Bellamy was on the shortlist, Thanakarnjanasuth added: "He is one of the candidates."
As for what previous roles the new boss at the Kassam Stadium should have, Thanakarnjanasuth said: "He should have manager's experience, either in the first team or a young [youth] team, but they should have manager experience."
Outgoing chairman Darryl Eales was also at the news conference and he is convinced the club has found the right man to take over from him.
"I've taken the club to my heart, but have always been candid about needing help to fund the club to get in and stay in the Championship," said Eales.
"Then it's about finding the right partner, with the right feelings and reasons. I think Tiger is the right person."
