Wales coach Chris Coleman believes next summer’s Euro 2016 clash with England in France has the potential of being ‘a firecracker of a game.’
Wales, who are playing in the Euro finals for the first time in their history, have also been drawn in the same group as Russia and Slovakia.
And while Coleman admits he did not want to be drawn in the same group as England, he is relieved they are not facing Roy Hodgson's team in their opening game.
Their Group B opener will be against Slovakia in Bordeaux on Saturday, June 11th, before travelling to Lens to face England five days later.
I am very excited, we're in a group with some hot competition.
Coleman's side finish off in Toulouse on Monday, June 20th when 2018 World Cup hosts Russia are the opponents.
Speaking in Paris, he said: "It's going to be a firecracker, a great game against England and it's not up first.
"England are one of the best teams, and we would have wanted to avoid it, but now we just look forward to it.
"It is two good teams and to win 10 games in the campaign is a fantastic return for England.
"But you look around all the coaches here and you feel so honoured and proud to be here, representing Wales.
"I am very excited, we're in a group with some hot competition. But that is why we are here, we deserve to be here and I think the tournament will be a fantastic one."
