Who's in the hottest form heading into Euro 2016?

Despite concerns over their performances in their warm-up games, England are the only side to have played three times and won each one heading into the tournament.

France and Croatia are among the sides to have a 100 per cent record from two pre-tournament matches, but other favourites such as Germany and Spain have both suffered defeats in their build-ups.

Check out the form table below and read on to see how each side has fared in their pre-tournament preparations...

Romania

Warm-up games: 1-1 draw v DR Congo, 4-3 defeat v Ukraine, 5-1 win v Georgia

The side who kick off against France on Friday night opened their warm-up campaign with a 1-1 draw against the Democratic Republic of Congo, before slumping to a 4-3 defeat against Ukraine.

Romania's final warm-up game was far more positive, however, as they thumped Georgia 5-1 in Bucharest.

Albania

Warm-up games: 3-1 win v Qatar, 3-1 defeat v Ukraine

One of several sides featuring in a major tournament for the first time this summer, Albania beat 2022 World Cup hosts Qatar 3-1 in their first game, before suffering a 3-1 defeat against Ukraine.

Switzerland

Warm-up games: 2-1 defeat v Belgium, 2-1 win v Moldova

Switzerland's first warm-up game saw them beaten 2-1 by one of the favourites for the tournament in Belgium, before securing an edgy victory over Moldova ahead of their opening game against Albania.

Group B

England

Chris Smalling of England (6) beats Ricardo Carvalho (6) and Danilo Pereira of Portugal (13)

Warm-up games: 2-1 win v Turkey, 2-1 win v Australia, 1-0 win v Portugal

England's 100 per cent record in warm-up games has been somewhat overshadowed by uncertainty over their tactics, formation and starting line-up heading into France.

The three wins, however, do mean that Roy Hodgson's side have won 10 of their last 12 games, with their two defeats coming against Spain last November and the Netherlands in March.

Russia

Warm-up games: 2-1 defeat v Czech Republic, 1-1 draw v Serbia

England's opponents in their opening game failed to win in either of their warm-up matches heading into the tournament. Russia threw away the lead to lose 2-1 against Czech Republic before drawing 1-1 with Serbia.

They're on a poor run of form heading into Euro 2016, having won just one of their last five games, losing three.

Wales

Warm-up games: 3-0 defeat v Sweden

Wales qualified for their first ever European Championship and first major tournament since the 1958 World Cup, but have recorded one draw and three defeats in their last four games.

Chris Coleman's side may regret only arranging one warm-up game ahead of travelling to France, especially as they were thumped 3-0 by Sweden.

Joachim Low's side have lost three of their last five friendlies heading into the tournament, including a 3-2 defeat against England in March.

Ukraine

Warm-up games: 4-3 win v Romania, 3-1 win v Albania

11 goals in two pre-tournament friendlies suggests Ukraine might be an entertaining team to watch at the Euros. They have won their last four friendlies in the build-up to France, and have been beaten just once in their last 12 games.

Poland

Poland had, however, won their past five games in all competitions, netting 15 times in the process and conceding just four.

Northern Ireland

Warm-up games: 3-0 win v Belarus, 0-0 draw v Slovakia

An unbeaten double in their warm-up games, both without conceding a goal. Northern Ireland haven't lost in their last 12 games, winning six and drawing six.

Warm-up games: 3-1 win v Bosnia-Herzegovina, 6-1 win v South Korea, 1-0 defeat v Georgia

Two wins and nine goals suggested that Spain were on track to defend the title they have held since Euro 2008. But Vicente del Bosque's side then fell to a 1-0 defeat at home against minnows Georgia in their final warm-up game, ending an 11-match unbeaten run.

Czech Republic

Warm-up games: 6-0 win v Malta, 2-1 win v Russia, 2-1 defeat v South Korea

Czech Republic kicked off their Euro 2016 warm-up games by thrashing Malta then coming from behind to beat Russia, but suffered a setback in their final clash ahead of facing Spain in their opening game as they were beaten by South Korea.

Turkey bounced back from their defeat against England to win their next two warm-up games by a 1-0 scoreline against Montenegro and Slovenia. The loss against the Three Lions was the only reverse Turkey have suffered in 16 games.

Croatia

Warm-up games: 1-0 win v Moldova, 10-0 win v San Marino

Croatia decided to warm up for Euro 2016 by facing two minnows in Moldova and San Marino, and struck 11 goals in the process. They're unbeaten in their last seven heading into the tournament, winning six of those and drawing one.

Belgium are one of the favourites heading into Euro 2016, but struggled in their pre-tournament matches, edging out Switzerland before nicking a late draw at home to Finland.

They then had to come back from 2-1 down to beat Norway 3-2 in their final game before heading to France.

Italy

Warm-up games: 1-0 win v Scotland, 1-0 win v Italy

Italy's two warm-up wins over Scotland and Finland saw them end a run of four friendlies without victory. Antonio Conte's side had previously been thumped by Belgium and Germany, as well as drawing with Romania and Spain.

Republic of Ireland

Sweden

Warm-up games: 0-0 draw with Slovenia, 3-0 win v Wales
