League One side Fleetwood have confirmed they will receive a "substantial" pay-out if former player Jamie Vardy is sold by Leicester.
Fleetwood have confirmed they have a sell-on clause as part of the deal they struck with Leicester, who paid them in the region of £1m for the striker in 2012.
They did not reveal the percentage of any future transfer fee they will receive.
Vardy has been in sensational form this season, his goals propelling Leicester to the top of the Premier League.
The 28-year-old has scored in 10 consecutive league matches and one more against Manchester United at the King Power Stadium will see him eclipse former United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy's previous mark.
