The goalkeeper literally pulled out all the stops to deny his opponents at Sixfields on Saturday, with his heroics leading to a sense of disbelief among the home team and fans.

Fleetwood boss Uwe Rosler was quick to praise his goalkeeper after the match. "It was a solid performance from all of my players," he told the club's official website. "Alex was superb today but his performance is a performance from the whole team.

"He made an absolutely unbelievable triple save and kept us in the game. To do it once was good but three times was brilliant."

Fleetwood eventually won the game thanks to Devante Cole's strike in the 75th minute.
