Dundee have completed the signing of former Motherwell midfielder Tom Hateley on a two-year contract.

Hateley arrives at Dens Park as a free agent following the completion of his contract with Polish club Slask Wroclaw in the summer.

The 26-year-old had been interesting several clubs but opted to return to Scotland's top-flight where he represented the Steelmen for four years until 2014.

Hateley will train with his new club for the first time on Tuesday and could make his debut for the Dark Blues next weekend when they host Kilmarnock.

"Dundee Football Club is delighted to announce that Tom Hateley has today signed for the club on a two-year deal," an official statement from Dundee read.
