Niall Quinn thinks Arsenal have an opportunity to cement their position among the Premier League title challengers in the coming weeks.
Having beaten Hull 4-1 on Saturday to record their third straight league win, the Gunners next face Chelsea at home.
But then they take on four sides in the bottom half of the table - Burnley, Swansea, Middlesbrough and Sunderland - before a north London derby against Tottenham.
"After winning at Watford and Hull so emphatically you would expect them to do the same at Burnley and Sunderland," said Quinn on Sky Sports.
"At home, you always fancy them. If you are an Arsenal fan looking at their upcoming fixtures, you are saying we can get right in the title race."
Having lost to Liverpool and then drawn with Leicester to start the season, Arsene Wenger said his side are starting to gain belief after beating Hull.
Quinn thinks they should be targeting success in the Premier League over the Champions League, where they drew with Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.
"Winning the Champions League is a massive ask," he said. "Arsenal fans want more to shout about at home, they have heard enough about the stadium being paid for and how well other clubs are doing, the money Man City are spending and Man United back in vogue.
"They want to win matches. They want a bit more and I would hope the league is Arsene Wenger's number one priority."
While Arsenal are climbing the table, Hull have lost two of their last three league games.
"It's going to be tough for Hull," said Quinn. "They will be really flat after this result, there was a nice buzz but they have Liverpool and Chelsea coming up and it's going to be difficult.
"The ownership issue behind the scenes is not helping matters so they need that cleared up. The gloss has gone off their great start, it's going backwards a bit now and they have to try to arrest that.
"If Mike Phelan keeps this team up he will have done a brilliant job."
