Conor Wilkinson, Deane Smalley and John-Christophe Ayina arrive at Newport County

Newport have bolstered their squad with the loan signings of Conor Wilkinson and Deane Smalley, while the unattached John-Christophe Ayina has also moved to Rodney Parade until the end of the season.

Midfielder Wilkinson has joined County on a one-month emergency loan from Bolton, while Plymouth striker Smalley will remain with the club until the end of the campaign.

Fellow forward Ayina had been a free agent earlier this month following a non-contract spell with Rochdale and he will remain with Warren Feeney's squad for the remainder of the season.

All three will be hoping to feature in Newport's Sky Bet League Two fixture against Dagenham on Saturday.
