With 10 games gone, Matt Le Tissier gives his Premier League review, offering up his stars of the season, champions and bottom three.
The Southampton legend has picked out the Premier League's leading scorer as his top performer so far, but has gone for less obviously picks when it come to the most impressive youngster and manager.
However, few are likely to dispute his goal of the season so far and pick for the title, while he agrees with the bookies on two of the three sides expected to face the drop.
There's so many candidates at the moment but I'm going to go for Diego Costa. His form has surprised me and I didn't actually see him bouncing back to form after last season. I thought his days were numbered at Chelsea but eight goals in 10 games is impressive and he looks like he's keeping himself under control a bit better, evading the referee's notebook for four successive games!
Alex Iwobi has done very well, Marcus Rashford is one you've got throw in the mix while Kelechi Iheanacho has a great goals-per-minute ratio again but hasn't played much. I'm going for Sunderland's Jordan Pickford though. I know he's in a shocking team but I think he will turn into a top-class goalkeeper.
In terms of over-performers, I guess you probably wouldn't expect Watford to be seventh or Bournemouth to be 10th, while Liverpool are sat joint top, so it's between their managers for me. I'm going to give it to Eddie Howe. Having little old Bournemouth in the top half of the table is a remarkable achievement, but Jurgen Klopp and Walter Mazzarri were very close behind.
That was a proper worldy. I had to wait for the camera to pan back to him before believing it was actually Jordan Henderson. It was an absolutely stunning strike and it actually had me out of my chair. I jumped up shouting 'oh my God' followed up by 'oh my God, it was Jordan Henderson'.
I thought City might have run away with it after the first few matches but 10 games in but one point separating the top four tells me we're in for an exciting title race. However, I still think they've got the best squad and if Sergio Aguero stays fit they should win the league.
I don't think you'll find anyone who will say Sunderland will escape at the moment. They've gone to the well too many times and I think it will be a step too far.
My second choice is Hull. I just don't think they've got the strength in depth to see them through the season.
If you'd asked me 10 days ago I would've said Middlesbrough 100 per cent and, while they're still just in there for me, they've shown signs of life. They looked clueless against Watford, but then could have beaten Arsenal last weekend and got a win against Bournemouth, but I do still think they'll struggle for goals.
