Martin Olsson and John Ruddy are major doubts for Norwich's Sky Bet Championship clash with Bristol City at Carrow Road.

Defender Olsson was withdrawn in the first half of Saturday's goalless draw at home to Sheffield Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

Goalkeeper Ruddy was replaced by Michael McGovern at half-time having picked up a groin problem, with the Northern Ireland international in line for his first start for the Canaries.

First-team coach John Pemberton confirmed on Monday that goalkeeper Frank Fielding is back in training having been out of action since April due to an ankle injury.

Former Norwich midfielder Korey Smith has also returned to training but the game will come too early for the 25-year-old, who has been sidelined after surgery on his own ankle problem.
