New signing Fousseni Diabate could make his Leicester debut in the FA Cup fourth-round clash at Peterborough on Saturday (kick-off 12.30pm).
The Foxes signed the forward this month from French side Gazelec Ajaccio.
And manager Claude Puel said: "I think he is ready and I think perhaps he will have some game time in this match to help us get further in the competition.
"He is a good profile and has good attributes. He has great pace, he is very quick, and he has a lot of possibilities. It will be not a problem for him."
Leicester have been in good form recently in the Premier League, but needed a replay to beat Fleetwood Town in the third round.
Peterborough are eighth in League One and beat Aston Villa in the last round.
"The plan is to play behind them, create chances and score goals," said manager Grant McCann. "If you sit back against Premier League teams they will pick you off and beat you easily. I don't want to die wondering, I want us to be brave and positive."
Posh are without the injured Gwion Edwards (ankle) and cup-tied duo Joe Ward and George Cooper.
However, top scorer Jack Marriott is hoping to overcome a knock to be involved.
Robert Huth and Danny Simpson could both be back in the Leicester squad. Huth has yet to play this season having undergone ankle surgery in the summer while full-back Simpson has recovered from the hamstring injury that has kept him on the sidelines recently. Captain Wes Morgan (hamstring) remains out, though.
Puel made eight changes in the previous round against Fleetwood and he is expected to rotate his squad once again.
Peterborough have only lost one of their last 14 games in the FA Cup (W8 D5), although they did fail to win each of their three meetings with Premier League sides in this run (two draws v West Brom and one defeat v Chelsea).
The Foxes have progressed from six of their last seven fourth-round ties against lower-league opposition, with their only defeat coming at the hands of West Brom in 2001/02 (0-1).
Marriott has netted five goals in the FA Cup this season, with four of those coming across his last two games (two goals v both Woking and Aston Villa).
Kelechi Iheanacho has been directly involved in eight goals in eight FA Cup appearances (seven goals and one assist), including a brace last time out against Fleetwood; the Nigerian averages a goal every 55 minutes in the FA Cup.
Leicester City have kept a clean sheet in each of their last five competitive matches - should they not concede in this game, it'll equal their club record of six in a row set between February-March 1920.
I'm interested in this early kick-off because I've been impressed with Puel, who has been a lot more adventurous than at Southampton for some reason.
However, he makes a lot of changes, especially with the Premier League to come midweek, so I think this could be an open game with plenty of goals.
