Peterborough must choose between goalkeepers Jonathan Bond and Conor O'Malley for the Sky Bet League One visit of Portsmouth.
O'Malley started Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Blackpool, despite before then being their cup goalkeeper and Bond being preferred in the league. Posh will have to make do without Liam Shephard, who has been ruled out with a groin strain. Junior Morias is also absent until January because of a ruptured thigh.
Matty Kennedy could return to the Portsmouth starting line-up. Winger Kennedy impressed when coming off the bench in the weekend win over Southend and provided the cross for Brett Pitman to score the winner.
Nathan Thompson and Stuart O'Keefe will be pushing for recalls after returning on the bench against the Shrimpers following suspension. Damien McCrory and Tareiq Holmes-Dennis remain sidelined with knee injuries.
Peterborough have won just one of their seven home league meetings with Portsmouth (D4 L2), but are unbeaten in their last two home games in the third tier against Pompey (W1 D1), with the last such meeting at this level coming back in August 1977.
Portsmouth have lost just two of the last 10 league games with the Posh (W3 D5) and did win on their last visit to London Road - 3-0 in January 2012.
None of Peterborough's last 42 home league games have ended goalless, since a 0-0 with Southend in January 2016.
Pompey have won their last two league games. They've not won three in a row at this level or higher since March 2011 (a run of six in the Championship).
