Sky Sports' 10 in 10 rolls in to Preston on Saturday as they take on Blackburn Rovers, live on Sky Sports 1 from 5.15pm.

In the second game of our marathon of live EFL coverage, Preston will be looking to put behind them the embarrasing scenes from their recent defeat at Sheffield Wednesday where team-mates Jermaine Beckford and Eoin Doyle were sent-off for fighting each other.

They'll be without both players for the visit of Owen Coyle's men due to suspension as they look to end a run of three games without a win at Deepdale.

Watch as Preston's Eoin Doyle and Jermaine Beckford were both sent off for fighting each other!

Blackburn have lost six of their last nine league games on the road but did record an impressive 1-0 win at St James' Park over Newcastle last month.

Team news

Paul Gallagher may have a chance of returning from his calf injury, while it looks unlikely fellow midfielder John Welsh will be back from his.

It also appears the game will be too soon for Stevie May (knee) to make his comeback.

Blackburn have Ben Marshall back available for the contest after he was suspended for last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Huddersfield having collected five yellow cards this season.

Otherwise, boss Owen Coyle looks set to have the same squad as for that match.

Adam Henley (hamstring), Tommie Hoban (shoulder) and Elliott Ward (ankle) remain out.

Opta stats

Preston have lost their last two home league games against Blackburn (in 2001 and 2015), the same number they'd lost in their last 17 against them at Deepdale (W11 D4).

The away side won both encounters between these sides last season, both by a 2-1 scoreline and with the home side having a player sent off.

North End have lost just one of their last seven league matches at Deepdale (W4 D2), after losing the previous three on the bounce.

Paul Gallagher has provided more league assists for Preston this season than any other player (5).

David Prutton's players to watch

Jordan Hugill (Preston)

"He's found a home at Preston, where Simon Grayson's management style has brought the best out of his game."

Craig Conway (Blackburn)

"The assistor-in-chief. He cuts in onto his right foot to great effect for a team fighting its way back from the wrong end of the table."

Prutton's prediction

Preston will be looking for a reaction to the way their last game ended - two red cards after in-fighting between team-mates.

Simon Grayson will be looking to address that, he was quite vocal in the way that he apologised to the fans, and the way he reimbursed the fans from the pockets of the players shows that he understands how to get the fans on his side.

Preston will have the bit between their teeth as they look to right some wrongs against a Blackburn side who are in somewhat of a false position down in 21st.

PRUTTON PREDICTS: 2-1 and Jordan Hugill to score first (Sky Bet odds: 28/1)
