Tom Clarke is Preston's biggest concern ahead of the visit of Bolton in the Sky Bet Championship, live on Sky Sports (5.55pm).
The North End captain continues to be hampered by the shoulder injury he sustained against Cardiff that has kept him out of the past two fixtures.
Fellow defender Paul Huntington could make his return to the starting XI, though, after a four-minute cameo at Brighton on his comeback from a calf injury, although the Lilywhites have kept three clean sheets on the spin.
The trio of Paddy McCarthy (knee), Chris Humphrey (shin) and Jermaine Beckford (knee) remain long-term absentees for Simon Grayson's side.
New Bolton loanee Luke Brattan could make his debut in the north-west derby.
The Australian moved to the Macron Stadium from Manchester City this week until January to bolster Neil Lennon's options for his bottom-of-the-table side.
Jay Spearing (leg) and Dean Moxey (toe) should be available again but both Mark Davies (Achilles) and Gary Madine (concussion) were forced off against Leeds, the latter making way for debutant Shola Ameobi, who scored on his debut, so they will need assessment prior to kick-off.
Zach Clough (shoulder) and Wellington Silva (hamstring) have long-term injury issues.
Sky Bet's odds
Preston are the odds-on favourites at 17/20 with Sky Bet for victory over Bolton on Saturday evening. Bolton are the 100/30 outsiders for three Sky Bet Championship points and the draw can be found at 12/5. Sky Sports expert Ian Holloway is backing Preston to win 2-1 at 15/2 and North End striker Joe Garner to open the scoring at 9/2.
