Preston manager Simon Grayson has hinted he will make changes for his side's home clash with Derby.

Having lost their first two Sky Bet Championship games of the season, Grayson is considering rotating the side that went down to Fulham at the weekend.

Striker Joe Garner's future is still up in the air with Rangers circling and the likes of Jermaine Beckford and Callum Robinson are ready to step up from the bench.

Simon Makienok (thigh) and Ben Pearson (illness) hope to be available.

Derby will be without Jeff Hendrick after he suffered a hamstring injury on Saturday.

The midfielder limped off after just 11 minutes of the defeat to Barnsley and the Rams are awaiting the results of scans which will determine how long his absence will be.

Darren Bent also had to be substituted at Oakwell but the striker's ankle injury was not serious and he will be in the squad against North End.

Fellow forward Abdoul Camara will be available for the first time this season after recovering from groin and hip flexor problems.
