QPR can welcome defender Grant Hall back from suspension for the EFL Cup visit of Rochdale.
Hall served a one-match ban as Rangers slipped to a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Preston on Saturday following his red card against Barnsley in midweek.
Joel Lynch is still out with an abdominal problem and Ben Gladwin has an ankle injury, but Polish midfielder Ariel Borysiuk is back in training after ankle trouble.
Boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is likely to make a few changes with back-up goalkeeper Matt Ingram set for another run-out.
Rochdale are also expected to make changes at Loftus Road.
Keith Hill suggested some of those who were on the bench on Saturday against MK Dons will start in midweek.
One of those may be new striker Steven Davies, who made a 10-minute cameo on his debut, though Hill has warned he is not yet at the fitness levels he wants so his impact may come from the bench once again.
Reuben Noble-Lazarus (ankle), Joe Rafferty (groin), Ollie Rathbone and Peter Vincenti (ankle) were all absent at the weekend and may struggle to feature three days on.
