Raith Rovers could hand a debut to Harry Panayiotou, who has joined on loan from Leicester City, in Tuesday's match against Rangers.

Rovers match against Queen of the South was postponed at the weekend and the 21-year-old could plug the gap left by Mitch Megginson, who has joined Alloa Athletic.

Lewis Toshney, Iain Davidson and Mark Stewart are involved after shaking off knocks but the injured Craig Barr (groin) and Lewis Vaughan (knee) continue to miss out.

Rovers have not scored in four games and their last win came on December 18 but they remain in the final play-off place, ahead of Queen of the South on goal difference.

Manager Ray McKinnon said: "Rangers are in terrific form and no-one will expect us to do anything in this game so it is a bit of a pressure free game. I will send the players out to be positive and show what they can do."

"Hopefully we can continue creating chances as we have been but show a more ruthless edge."

New signing Michael O'Halloran goes straight into the Rangers squad for the trip to Kirkcaldy after completing his switch from St Johnstone on Monday.

Midfielder Andy Halliday returns after serving a one-match ban for his red card at Morton, but Jason Holt's involvement remains uncertain as he struggles to shake off a knee injury.

Fraser Aird has moved to Vancouver Whitecaps on loan, meaning the only other absentee is winger David Templeton, who is still a few weeks away after knee surgery.

Mark Warburton, Rangers manager, 'What the hell was that?'

Manager Mark Warburton was in confident mood, saying: "We're a tight, lean squad but I'm delighted with that. I think you do more damage in January by bringing in too many players because you destroy the unity and harmony of the dressing room.

"I look at the bench for the game against Raith and it's the strongest I've had since being at Rangers."

Rangers, unbeaten in six games since Christmas, will move 11 points clear of second-placed Hibernian with victory at Stairs Park.
