Gedion Zelalem is a doubt for Rangers ahead of their Championship clash with Morton at Ibrox on Friday night.

The midfielder, on loan from Arsenal, has been hit with a flu bug, but boss Mark Warburton is hoping to have him fit for the game with sixth-placed Morton.

Rangers, who are unbeaten in all competitions since December 19, can move 15 points clear of Falkirk at the top of the league with a win over Jim Duffy's side.

Forwards Michael O'Halloran and Billy King are back after being cup-tied for last Saturday's Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Dundee. However, striker Martyn Waghorn and long-term absentee David Templeton are still unavailable with knee injuries.

Rangers emerged victorious the last time the sides met, beating Morton 2-0 at Cappielow, but were held to a 2-2 draw at Ibrox previously.

All the action from Ibrox as Scottish Championship leaders Rangers brushed Dundee to progress to the Scottish Cup semi-final.

The Ton were knocked out of the Scottish Cup on Sunday, losing 3-0 to Celtic.

Ahead of the game, Warburton said his focus remains solely on his side's Championship campaign, despite a looming Scottish Cup semi-final tie against rivals Celtic in April.

He said: "Our aims at the start of the season were not to win a cup final, of course go as far as you can in the tournament, but our aim was clearly about the league and you can't lose focus.

"It is our job to make sure we have got that task done in the league. There is a big game on Friday against Morton - that is the key right now."
