Highlights of the Sky Bet Championship match between Rotherham and Nottingham Forest

Jon Taylor secured a point for 10-man Rotherham in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

The Millers led at half-time through the former Peterborough man, but Forest hit back after the break with a header from Matt Mills and a brilliant Apostolos Vellios overhead kick, which put them on the verge of victory.

But Taylor drove home his second of the match five minutes form time to deny the visitors the chance to move into the play-off zone.

It was a frantic opening quarter-of-an-hour, but chances were at a premium. Jorge Grant's 25-yarder was saved ex-Forest keeper Lee Camp, before Vellios fired Ben Osborn's cross wide.

Danny Ward had Rotherham's first sight of goal after 27 minutes, with his effort flying past Vladimir Stojkovic's left-hand post from an acute angle, but two minutes later they took the lead.

A Forest attack broke down and Brown was set free into the visitors' half and as he neared the edge of the box, he squared to Taylor, who crashed the ball low past Stojkovic.

Former Reds defender Kelvin Wilson's mistake gave Vellios a sight of goal just before the break and the Greek's stinging long-range effort was tipped past his left-hand post by Camp.

Nicklas Bendtner was introduced to the fray just before the hour mark, much to the delight of the 2,000 away fans, whose side needed some much-needed attacking impetus.

His arrival seemed to spark Forest into life and they launched an immediate foray forward, but Pajtim Kasami should have done better when firing wildly over after a goalmouth scramble.

Brown again triggered a Rotherham raid and this time he took the shot, but it deflected off sub Michael Mancienne's and out for a corner, from which Greg Halford's curler bent agonisingly past Stojkovic's left-hand post.

If that had gone in it would surely have been game over, but Forest took advantage of the reprieve to level after 75 minutes. Kasami's free-kick was deflected wide for a corner and from Lansbury's set-piece, Mills headed goalwards and somehow the ball squirmed past Camp and nestled in the back of the net.

The Millers were then reduced to 10 men seven minutes before the break following Darnell Fisher's crude lunge on Osborn and when play restarted, Vellios stunned the home side with a fantastic bicycle kick that gave Camp no chance.

Rotherham responded brilliantly when Taylor forced his way into the Forest box and cracked a shot into the bottom corner to draw the hosts level.

Back came Forest and Camp brilliantly kept out Lansbury's shot and from the rebound, Bendtner struck a post. Seconds later Camp again denied Lansbury in a breathtaking climax to the match.
