Highlights of the League One play-off semi-final between Scunthorpe and Millwall

Steve Morison's double fired Millwall to a 3-2 aggregate victory over Scunthorpe and into the Sky Bet League One play-off final for a second consecutive year - where they will play Bradford.

After a goalless opening leg at home on Thursday night, the Lions fell behind on Sunday to an Ivan Toney strike for Scunthorpe, but hit back through Morison's brace either side of a Lee Gregory effort, while Stephen Dawson scored a late consolation for the Iron.

Neil Harris' side were beaten 3-1 by Barnsley in the final last year, but will hope to go one better this time round and make it to the Sky Bet Championship.

Bradford played out a goalless draw in the other semi-final, second leg to beat Fleetwood 1-0 on aggregate, and the two sides that finished fifth and sixth in the regular season will now meet at Wembley on Saturday, May 20, live on Sky.

The first leg was a largely turgid affair at The Den, but proceedings at Glanford Park began in far livelier fashion in the second and it took just 19 minutes for the opening goal of the tie.

Josh Morris' corner bounced all the way through to Toney in the six-yard box, and he managed to poke it in from close range.

That didn't deter Millwall, though, who had been the better side throughout the tie, and they got their deserved leveller on the stroke of half-time. Some sloppy defending allowed Tony Craig the chance to cross for Morison at the far post, who made no mistake in nodding past Scunthorpe goalkeeper Joe Anyon.

Millwall continued their momentum into the second half, and after 52 minutes they were ahead. A quick attack saw Morison break into the Scunthorpe box, and he did well to control the ball and tee up the ball for his strike partner Gregory to head home.

The Iron were rocking now and just six minutes later Morison had his second and Millwall's third, drilling in from close range after being quickest to the ball in the box.

Scunthorpe captain Dawson pulled one back late on from 25 yards after 82 minutes, but it was too little too late as the Lions bravely held on.

Scunthorpe boss Graham Alexander:

"I'm obviously disappointed. If we'd got to half-time after taking the lead we could have composed everyone, but they scored at a vital time. We were looking to step up the tempo in the second half, but Millwall got those two goals and it knocked the stuffing out of us a little bit.

"The response was good and for the last 10 minutes they were under siege, but we just couldn't find the little break we needed. We had a couple of opportunities, but we have to give Millwall credit, they played very well and we wish them well in the final.

"I know in a couple of weeks we'll look back and think we've had a very good season, but the pain of defeat is overpowering tonight."

Millwall boss Neil Harris:

"I know what my boys are capable of. We've had a brilliant season so far, but the FA Cup took a lot out of us and we should have been higher up the division. But we have a lot of spirit in the camp, I knew we had the players to score goals and I knew we could come here tonight and win the game.

"I thought we were the better team at home and we dominated the first half here until they scored against the run of play. [The equaliser] was a key moment, I went into the dressing room at half-time and the boys were bouncing.

"We've got experience of playing [at Wembley] and a large part of this group played there last year. We were overawed last year, but we'll be ready this time. No disappointment this year, we want to be winners."
