Team news for Tuesday night's Sky Bet Championship clash between Sheffield Wednesday and MK Dons.

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sam Hutchinson could return to contention for the home game against MK Dons.

Hutchinson has missed the last four games due to glandular fever but is now back in full training and could be involved.

Striker Gary Hooper returned to the bench for Saturday's home draw against Ipswich after a foot injury and is pushing for a start while winger Aiden McGeady is also expected to return to the squad after missing out at the weekend.

Head coach Carlos Carvalhal, who will take charge of his 50th game for the Owls, has no new injury or suspension problems as his play-off chasing side bid to extend their five-point advantage over seventh-placed Cardiff.

MK Dons have appealed against Cody Cropper's red card at Preston in a bid to have the goalkeeper available at Hillsborough.

With first-choice keeper David Martin out for the rest of the season with a fractured hand, a ban for Cropper would leave 20-year-old Charlie Burns as the only option between the posts as the Milton Keynes club look to prolong their fight against relegation.

Forward Alex Revell, who went in goal at Deepdale after Cropper's dismissal and brilliantly saved the resulting penalty, defender Antony Kay and midfielders Carl Baker and Daniel Powell are options for Dons boss Karl Robinson should he wish to make other changes in the outfield positions.

The Dons will be relegated back to Sky Bet League 1 on Tuesday night if they lose and all of Blackburn, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Rotherham avoid defeat.
