Ivan Toney could make his Shrewsbury debut against Huddersfield in the Sky Bet EFL Cup after joining on loan from Newcastle.

The striker, 20, has signed until January following Town's 1-0 opening-day Sky Bet League One defeat to MK Dons on Saturday.

AJ Leitch-Smith and Andy Mangan were boss Micky Mellon's only forwards before Toney joined on Monday.
