St Johnstone midfielder Murray Davidson is suspended for the Premiership encounter at home to Rangers on Wednesday evenng.
But Steven MacLean returns after sitting out the victory at Kilmarnock because of manager Tommy Wright's reluctance to expose him to the artificial surface.
Michael Coulson (calf) and Ally Gilchrist (groin) remain out as the home side look to record their first league win against Rangers since March 2010.
Rangers are sweating on the fitness of skipper Lee Wallace for the short trip to Perthshire after he limped through the final 10 minutes of Saturday's win over Inverness.
Boss Mark Warburton confirmed the defender had suffered a knock in the 1-0 win but is hoping his captain will pull through in time.
Jordan Rossiter (calf) and Niko Kranjcar (knee) remain on the sidelines as the Light Blues - who have built up a decent head of steam in establishing a four-match winning streak.
Warburton was not overly impressed with the performance against Caley Thistle but acknowledged the importance of the result.
He said: "If you can have an off day and still emerge with the spoils it speaks volumes for the team. We've got four victories out of four, we're at 38 points now out of 19 games so we're moving forward."
