Highlights from Roma's 3-2 win over Spurs

Roma came out 3-2 winners against Tottenham in the ICC after a frantic finale in New Jersey in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Roma took the lead on 13 minutes through Diego Perotti's penalty from Cameron Carter-Vickers' soft handball, before Spurs were denied a clear penalty of their own Federico Fazio's tackle on Harry Kane in the second half.

Cengiz Under slotted home for 2-0 in the 70th minute, but Spurs levelled late on with two goals in four minutes through subs Harry Winks (87) and Vincent Janssen (90+1).

Roma won it just a minute later, however, as Marco Tumminello turned home from close range from Kevin Strootman's cross.

Roma were quickest off the mark at the Red Bull Arena, but went ahead in controversial fashion after American referee Hilario Grajeda awarded the Italian side a penalty for Carter-Vickers' handball from Radja Nainggolan's cross.

Despite there being no VAR employed for the ICC matches, Grajeda consulted his fourth official having initially waved play on, with Spurs feeling aggrieved at what was a harsh decision.

Perotti stepped up for Roma, and left Michel Vorm rooted as he found the right-hand corner.

Spurs did improve as the first half wore on; first Mousa Dembele hit the bar from an acute angle, before Kane forced Roma goalkeeper Alisson into a good save after a fine hit on the stride from 20 yards out.

Kane and Spurs were furious with Grajeda again after the break when the England striker was denied a stonewall penalty after former Spurs defender Fazio caught him in the box.

Kane went close from an angle having been put through on goal shortly after, but Roma were 2-0 up against the run of play with 20 minutes remaining as summer signing Under slammed home as Kevin Wimmer's clearance fell kindly to him.

Substitute Winks grabbed one back for Spurs with three minutes remaining, squeezing the ball home from a tight angle three yards out after Janssen's poked effort had come off the post, and Janssen then levelled himself in the 91st minute with a fine near-post finish from Kevin N'Koudou's cross from the right.

But Spurs fell asleep just a minute later to throw the game away, with sub Tumminello slotting the winner at the far post having got the better of Ben Davies in the box.
