Terrell Forbes is set to continue for Yeovil, while Colchester are boosted by the return of Dean Hammond and Alan Maybury.

Glovers boosted by return to fitness of Forbes

Terrell Forbes is set to continue at the heart of Yeovil's defence for their final match of the season at home to Colchester. The central defender shrugged off a knee injury to feature for the Glovers as they assured their League One status with a 1-1 draw at Tranmere last weekend. His return was a timely one as fellow defender Lee Peltier was ruled out by an ankle injury and he is again a doubt for this game. Glovers player-manager Terry Skiverton (foot) also missed out along with on-loan Bristol City midfielder David Noble (knee) and they too are again likely to be sidelined. The Glovers have not won in their last four games, but a run prior to that of three wins in four helped them gain enough points to secure their safety.

      Us news

Dean Hammond and Alan Maybury return to the Colchester squad for the trip. Skipper and Player of the Year Hammond has completed a two-match ban and right-back Maybury has recovered from the illness which kept him out against Peterborough last week. Boss Paul Lambert is also considering handing a full debut to 18-year-old midfielder Sam Corcoran. Wingers Lewis Gobern and Johnnie Jackson (both hamstring) are back in training but are unlikely to be risked while defender Paul Reid, midfielder David Perkins (both knee) and forward Steven Gillespie (ankle) are out. Striker Scott Vernon is over the thigh injury he suffered on loan at Northampton and could be involved after proving his fitness with a goal for the reserves this week.
