Leeds United confirm details for fan vote on new club badge

Leeds United have announced details of the consultation period on a design for their new centenary club badge.
The design originally unveiled by the club last week, featuring a fan touching their right hand to their heart - the so-called 'Leeds salute' - led to an angry response from many supporters.
An online petition aimed at making the club rethink the badge design soon passed the 60,000 mark, leading to a change of mind from United's hierarchy, who have now confirmed a new, fan-led system has been put in place.
"Following on from last week's commitment to extend consultation with our supporters on the proposed crest change, we are pleased to announce further details," read an official club statement.
"We would like to thank our loyal fan base for the overwhelming engagement on the future of the club crest.
"We have seen a great number of designs and ideas, and to ensure every fan can have their say, we are calling on supporters to share your inspiration for the new crest via email at: crest@leedsunited.com
"Using your ideas as inspiration, a small shortlist of refined designs will be chosen by fan panels and then go to a democratic vote amongst all our Season Ticket Holders and Members on Wednesday 21st February, with our new crest announced by the end of the month.
"We remain committed to working with you to create an identity that we can all be proud of for the 2018-19 season and beyond."
