Pepe has said Zinedine Zidane could be one of the best managers in the world as Real Madrid's La Liga title push continues with a clash against Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Real, who currently sit third in the table with three games to play, have just one point separating them from Atletico Madrid and leaders Barcelona.
Back in February, many were questioning Zidane's managerial ability when Real drew with Malaga and lost the Madrid derby, but they have since rediscovered their form and Pepe is certain Zidane is the right man for the job.
In an exclusive interview with Soccer AM's Tubes, Pepe said: "He's a coach who works very hard, he's very disciplined and is very clear about his ideas in terms of what he wants and what we need to do on the pitch.
"I think he could be the coach here at Real Madrid for many years.
"He loves football and he lives for it. He has outstanding football knowledge and a bright managerial future ahead of him
"I think he'll definitely be one of the best managers in the world."
And it's not just Zidane's ability as a manager that Pepe admires; he also has great respect for the 43-year-old's playing career.
He added: "He's still quality. He's still in great shape. Football runs through his veins. I think he could still be able to play today."
