Iain Dowie on Nottingham Forest's last-gasp win at Blackburn
Blackburn 0-1 Nottingham Forest: Read our match report here
"It was a terrific game. Forest did most of the pressing but, while Blackburn have got no points, you have to feel sorry for Grant Hanley and Scott Dann who were outstanding throughout the game. But there's a resiliance and grit about Billy Davies' sides; he knows how to get results and grind it out. Some of Forest's football in the first half was outstanding and in the end that little bit of craft we thought they were lacking came from an unlikely source in Jamie Mackie.
"Mackie's ability to chase lost causes led to the goal and it was a great finish from Darius Henderson. But Billy Davies is a master at setting up sides to go away from home and not get beaten. They dominated the game, deserved to win - but they weren't going to get beaten. They'll be in the shake-up.
"They are a big side but they played a lot of football; they passed it around nicely and they showed they can play direct as well. Blackburn, meanwhile, gave their front men very little service. Alex Marrow and Jason Lowe worked so hard in the middle and did so much great defensive work but because Rovers were playing 4-4-2 Forest dominated the midfield area. Maybe they'll have to adjust that system against better sides and go with three in the middle."
Paul Robinson on Bolton and Reading's battling draw at the Reebok
Bolton 1-1 Reading: Read our match report here
"It was a very good game of football and in the second half Reading really came on strong. Bolton took an early lead and from then on both teams tried to play the right way. Bolton have a reputation from years gone by of playing direct football but under Dougie Freedman it looks like they'll play a lot more passing.
"As the game wore on Reading looked fitter, stronger and the quality of Royston Drenthe was far and above anyone else on the pitch; you could see he's played at a different level. Drenthe is a luxury player but he definitely fancied it today and he caused Bolton lots of problems. If Reading had won by two or three it wouldn't have been unjust - Bolton have got a lot to thank their keeper Adam Bogdan for.
"Both sides lined up in a 4-4-1-1 and it was an evenly matched game. Reading would have been happy to take a point away but based on the way the game panned out you'd think they'd have taken all three because Bogdan made three or four very good saves."
