Chelsea complete double with win over Sunderland

Fran Kirby struck twice as Chelsea completed a League and Cup double with an emphatic 4-0 win over Sunderland in the FA Women’s Super League.
A year after their final-day heartache where dropped points at Manchester City cost them the title, the Blues tasted victory with Ji So Yun and Gemma Davison also on the scoresheet.
It took seven minutes for Ji to put Chelsea in front when Eniola Aluko found her unmarked in the box, allowing the forward to finish into the bottom right corner.
Kirby had the chance to double the lead after a lucky deflection saw her through on goal but she chipped the ball over a sprawling Hilde-Gunn Olsen and narrowly wide of the post.
After a frantic start to the second half the champions found a way through the Sunderland defence with Gemma Davison powering into the box before picking out Kirby who slid in to finish at the back post.
And Kirby eased any nerves when she sent a brilliant left-foot shot curling into the top left corner of the goal, followed by Davison rounding off a fine performance with a goal.
Elsewhere, Manchester City Women will be playing Champions League football for the first time next year after defeating Notts County 2-1.
Isobel Christiansen struck the winner to seal second place after Rachel Williams cancelled out Nikita Parris' early opener.
Arsenal finished in third place after Natalia Pablos's second-half header gave the Gunners a 1-0 win over Birmingham.
Bristol Academy ended their season in WSL 1 with a 4-2 victory against Liverpool.
