Jordan Nobbs has pulled out of England women's Euro 2017 qualifying squad against Serbia due to a hamstring injury.

The Arsenal midfielder was absent as the Lionesses extended their five-match unbeaten run in European Championship qualifiers with a comfortable 7-0 victory over Serbia at Adams Park on Saturday.

The daughter of former Hartlepool defender Keith Nobbs has been capped 29 times by England and has scored three times.

Nobbs has been on a great run of form this season - making five appearances and helping Arsenal lift the Women's FA Cup.

In total, she has scored 21 goals in 58 games for Arsenal since signing from Sunderland in 2010, and has lifted two Women's Super League and three FA Cups.

England will hope to continue their fine run of form in the reverse fixture against Serbia and a win on Tuesday would see them leapfrog Belgium and go top of their qualifying group.

And with Arsenal losing ground in the championship race they will hope that Nobbs recovers full fitness in time for their upcoming fixture against Sunderland on June 29.
